Cryptic Female Choice
The ancients did not know how the egg chose. They just knew that it did. They attributed the selection process to the Goddess and the acceptance of her will. Totemic group sex and, much later, the Orgia were the mechanisms that provided female eggs an abundance of genetic material from which to select.
The individuals who join the Colorful Prince bring this selection process back into operation. However, in this cycle, the mechanisms the female egg uses to select is no longer a mystery. Similar to the teachings women received in the ancient mystery cults, female adherents of the Colorful Prince are not passive during the selection process. They train to consciously discern the desirable behaviors that signal a male's ability to coevolve mutually –– behaviors that benefit both the female and the male.
