Records of the founding rulers of Ahhiyawa—the Bronze Age world that Sacred Blood associates with early Greece—largely disappeared during the centuries traditionally called the Greek Dark Ages. Yet fragments of an earlier world survive in myth, literature, archaeology, and material culture.

Sacred Blood gathers these scattered remnants into a tapestry, using them to reimagine forgotten legends and illuminate histories obscured by time.

Part 1

Within the narrative, Greece’s earliest conflicts emerge as blood feuds among rival indigenous families of African descent. Bound by ancestry yet divided by struggles for power, these families gradually fractured the unity that had once sustained them.

While they fought one another, new populations entered the Greek world. Preoccupied with generations of internal conflict, the old families failed to recognize how profoundly the balance of power was changing around them.

The tragedy of Sacred Blood is therefore not simply conquest from outside. It is the story of a civilization weakened from within—of blood turned against blood until the world those families had inherited could no longer remain their own.
