The oppression and enslavement that will follow global oligarchy will be substantial. Mind control through systems of government, education, and propaganda will effectively destroy our democratic institutions. It will be the task of future families to preserve democracy, but to do so, they will have to make sure attacks from the forces around them "hit empty."
All martial arts have this concept and express it in their own way. Be empty, hit empty, and empty hand expresses different facets of emptiness that martial people must have at their disposal since emptiness is central in allowing the path to arise and expose itself and for the practitioner to experience insight into the path.
